KIRKSVILLE – The Truman Women’s Basketball team defeated Illinois College 104-45 in an exhibition home game in Pershing Arena on Tuesday night.
Every player that played for Truman scored with Mackenzie Bray leading all Bulldogs with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting and a pair of triples. Maddie Re added 15 and Sloane Totta a dozen.
The Bulldogs pressured the Lady Blues into 29 turnovers and converted them into 39 points off of. Truman also owned the paint outscoring Illinois College 62-10.
The Bulldogs shot 60% from the field and won the glass 42-30.
Krista Bass led all Lady Blue scorers with nine points.
Truman will next be in action for their season opener on Nov. 9 in the GAC/GLVC Crossover in Nashville, Tennessee. The Bulldogs will face host Trevecca Nazarene on Friday and Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday.
