RUSSELLVILLE, Aek. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s basketball team rallied from an eight-point third quarter deficit en route to grabbing a 64-55 win at Arkansas Tech on Sunday afternoon in the Tritons’ final non-conference game.
UMSL now turns its attention to the remainder of the GLVC schedule, resuming league play on Thursday with a 1-1 mark.

How it Happened
UMSL used a 9-0 run over the final 1:48 of the third quarter to erase an eight-point deficit and take a 44-43 lead into the final 10 minutes before outscoring the hosts, 20-12, in the final frame. The Tritons helped seal the game by making 5-of-6 free throws in the final 24 seconds.
Arkansas Tech clung to an 18-17 lead after the first quarter and to a 32-30 halftime lead. The Tritons led by as many as eight in the first period, in which they knocked down 5-of-8 three-pointers before the Golden Suns closed the opening stanza with an 8-0 run to grab the lead.
