ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western women’s basketball coach Candi Whitaker announced the addition of two graduate assistants to her coaching staff as Morganne Grant and Trevor Moyer will join the Griffons for the upcoming season.
Grant is an Iowa State University graduate who comes to MWSU after working as the coordinator for BallerTV in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the head student manager for the Cyclone women’s basketball team for four seasons while at Iowa State where she assisted with all practice and game operations. Grant was also an ISU football and event management intern, as well as a sports & leisure intern at the Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau. She graduated with a degree in Event Management.
Grant is a Johnston, Iowa native and a graduate from Johnston High School.
Moyer comes to St. Joseph after graduating from Oklahoma State University in May with a degree in Sports Management. He was the manager of the Cowgirl women’s basketball team the last three seasons and earned the Kurt Budke Scholarship in 2020. Moyer also has given private basketball lessons during the summers and he played college basketball for one season at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Moyer is a Verdigris, Oklahoma native and graduated from Verdigris High School.
